Projects

Test bed automation:

I implimented the control for different test bed for testing EESS (Electric Energy Storage System) of electro and hybrid cars. The control was realised in CANAlyzer (CAPL program) and a Siemens PLC.

Software engineering:

I provide experience in developement of applications and tools in C, Matlab and Python. For example I implimented a tool in Matlab helping users to generate CAN restbus simulation in simulink out of a DBC file in an automated way. I implimented also in Python a Tool for automated tests on HiL simulators.

HiL and Openloop test systems:

I was able to provide all my services in this field during the following projects:

- HiL-Simulator for a 6HP gier ecu on a dSPACE Platform

- HiL-Simulator for a EDC17 and MED17 engine ecu on a dSPACE Platform

- HiL-Simulator for an ABS ecu on a xPC-Target Platform

- HiL-Simulator for a DELPHI engine ecu on a xPC-Target Platform

- Multiple Openloop test systems for the EDC17 and MED17 engine ecu

The projects for setting up a HiL test system have a typical workflow wich can be described in the following steps:

- specification: in this phase the requirements on the HiL test system are defined. The needed information like the terminal diagram of the ecu, the information of the communication busses like CAN, LIN or Flexray. The hardware and software platform is choosen as well as simulated or real loads. If needed a concept for variation handling is wocked out if the HiL test system will be used to test different variants of ecu. Based on all those information and requirements a wiring list of the HiL test system is worcked out as well as the simulation model and the handling software.

- setting up: in this phase the HiL test system is setup and wired together. At the end the hole wiring of the test system is tested based on the wiring list.

- starting up: in this phase the HiL test system is start up with the ecu. Started by the Openloop and than the Closedloop tests using different tools like the application tool INCA or the diagnostic tools like EDIABAS or Diagra.

- operation: after starting up the HiL test system is operated to execute manual an automated testing. Extentions and changes can be required to be done on the HiL test system depending on the development stage of the ecu (A-, B- or C-Sample).
